Bobby Ray Stacy was born to John Jefferson and Josephine Stacy on December 5, 1943 in Grundy, Virginia. He was always very proud of his family and heritage and often told stories about growing up with his family there in the mountains of Virginia.

Bob spent thirty-one years in the U.S. Navy serving on many ships on many seas and oceans. Bob served in Vietnam early in his career and went on to visit many ports of call and served on many stations across Asia and Europe. Before he retired from the Navy as an LDO or "Mustang" he had achieved the rank of Lt. Commander and had earned three Masters degrees and a PhD in Psychology.

He was preceded by son Daniel Stacy, and brothers Harrial Stacy, Billy H. Stacy, John E. Stacy and Curtis Wayne Stacy.

He is survived by brother James Stacy, sisters Phyllis Cox, Audry Stacy and Belva (Joy) King, grandsonJacob Stacy, son Bob Jr. and daughter Mary Ann Stacy.

Dr. Stacy leaves behind many friends and family across the U.S. and around the world. He will be missed and not forgotten.
