Carbondale – Sharron Kay Hertter, 75, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Sharron was born April 28, 1945 in Carbondale to Cecil and Pearl (Lindsey) Freeman.
On August 29, 1965 Sharron married William "Bill' Hertter.
He preceded her in death on May 20, 2017.
She is survived by two sons, K. (J.) Hertter of Oak Forest, and J. (N.) Hertter of Carbondale; five grandchildren; two great-grandsons; many nieces and nephews, and special friends.
Sharron is preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Funeral services for Sharron will be held on Monday, September 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale.
Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 12 – 2 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Due to COVID-19 health concerns, the visitation and funeral will be limited to 50 people at a time in the building, along with the requirements of wearing a mask and social distancing from one another.
