Cecil Freeman was born December 27, 1918 in Carbondale, the son of Charles and Cora Freeman. His siblings include Charles Freeman of St. Charles, Missouri, Earl Freeman of Carbondale, Mae Freeman of Carbondale and Betty Hamilton of Columbus, Ohio.
He married the former Pearl Evelyn Lindsey on august 29, 1942, in Jacksonville, Missouri. Mr. Freeman is survived by his wife and daughter, Sharon Hertter, of Carbondale.
Mr. Freeman was formerly a partner in Freeman and Reed Heating and Air Conditioning. For the past five years he was employed at the State Highway Garage.
He died at the age of 54 following a lengthy illness.
