Renan ( Sonny PeeWee) Davis, 89, of Georgetown, passed away September 23, 2020.

He was born in Georgetown, August 11, 1931, as the oldest of eight children born to Earl & Tennie (Carlile) Davis.

PeeWee, as he was called by friends, and several of his Georgetown High School buddies enlisted together in the U. S. Navy in 1951 only to be separated after boot camp. During his four years of service, he was deployed on the destroyers USS Black and USS Sierra.

After leaving the navy, he was employed for 33 years by Boeing Aircraft Company in Renton, WA. He moved back to Georgetown in 2004 after the death of his wife of 50 years, Anne Holmes Davis, in Renton.

Sonny, as he is called by family, is survived by sisters, Glenda (Johnny) Yeatts and Nelda Everett; sisters-in-law, Kathy and Ruth; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, wife, and siblings Earline Ischy, Shirley Barker, Chuck, Billy, and Rick.

The Davis family wants to thank Accent Care Hospice and especially his aide, Marleny, for her exceptional care.

Out of concern for the health of family and friends during this COVID 19 pandemic, there will be no service at this time.
