Ruth M. Melchior, 90, of Camillus passed away Tuesday, September 22 at Upstate Hospital. Born in Syracuse to the late Joseph and Margaret (Dunn) Melchior she graduated from Central Tech and lived her whole life in Syracuse. She worked for Key Bank retiring in 2001. Ruth was a long-time member and former treasurer of Elwood Presbyterian Church and enjoyed the Elmwood Quilters group. She was predeceased by her four brothers and five sisters.
She was a mother to many loved nieces and nephews, as family was her life.
Calling hours will be Friday, Sept. 25th from 4 to 7 pm at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 10 Genesee St., Camillus, NY. Services will be Saturday at 10 am in Robinson Elmwood United Church. Burial will be in Oakwood-Morningside Cemetery, Syracuse.
