OBITUARY MRS. LYDIA TAYLOR
The death occurred at Tumut and District Hospital on August 21 of Mrs. Lydia Taylor, of Adelong, at the age of 74 years. Deceased had been in indifferent health for some months. She had been cared for by her daughter, Mrs Norman Annetts, Havelock St., Adelong. Deceased was the widow of the late Mr. John Taylor who predeceased her by 11 years. An only son John was killed in an accident in 1939 and the only daughter is Mary (Mrs.N. Annetts of Adelong). The late Mrs Taylor was of a retiring disposition and was kind and hospitable. Interment took place in the C. of E. portion of the Adelong cemetery. Rev. Dr. Alexander carried out the last sad rites at the graveside and the funeral arrangements were in the hands of Messrs Boston Bros.
