Truman E. Anderson, 84, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020 surrounded by his family and under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was born October 22, 1935 to Earl and Dorothy Durrence Anderson and lived in Glennville most of his life. He was a retired poultry farmer, sports official and a founding member of Black Ankle Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was a loving, caring father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents and wife of 60 years, Gaynell Purvis Anderson.

He is survived by;

Children, Gayla Kowalchuk (Jim) of Brunswick, GA
Truman Anderson, Jr. (Kelley) of Sylvania, GA
Rebecca Anderson (David) of Statesboro, GA

Grandchildren, Tray Anderson, Megan Bennett (Morgan),
Elliot Anderson (Kaci),Katelyn Anderson, Maggie Kowalchuk

Step-Grandchildren: Kristin Wallace, Melissa Steinka (Travis), Alyson Rahn (Bert),
John Thomas Kowalchuk

Great-Grandchildren: Brynlee Bennett, Andi Bennett and Marly Anderson,
ten step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19, social distancing guidelines of six feet will be enforced. Masks are not required but recommended.
