Funeral services for Emmert S. "Johnnie" Turnbull, Jr. will be Saturday, 1:00 p.m., November 2nd, at the Craddock Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore. He passed this life on October 31, 2013 in a local hospital. He was born in Avant, OK on November 14, 1922 and was the son of Emmert and Ruby (Walker) Turnbull. He married the love of his life Lily "Lil" Turnbull on September 6, 1945 in St. Peters Church in Merseyside, England. He was retired from Texaco Inc. as a Production Forman. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 22 in Healdton. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, J.W. Turnbull and Sisters Ercile Thomas and Marie Hurd. He is survived by his wife of the home Lil, son, Steven "Rusty" Turnbull of Healdton, OK; sisters Rose Matthews and her husband Carl of Owasso, OK; brother, Jim Turnbull of Hitchatow, OK; Sister-in-Law, Beverly Turnbull of Cookson, OK; best friend Danny Ray of Ardmore, OK and 2 granddaughters Erica Ellison and Sarah Turnbull.
