Curtis Lee Mattingly, age 72 of Balltown, KY died Monday, September 14, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Balltown, KY on February 23, 1948, the son of the late Morris and Retha Keenan Mattingly. Curtis retired from Bell South after more than 30 years of service, was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a collector of many things and enjoyed yard sales. He repaired/tinkered with lawn mowers. "Pap" loved his family, especially his grandsons.

In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by his wife Anna Susan in 2016, and his brothers Harold and David.

He is survived by his children: Morris Coke Mattingly and LeaEllen Bratcher of Balltown, KY

3 grandsons: Dillion, Landon and Ethan

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 11 AM with burial in the St. Romuald Cemetery. Walk through viewing will be held on Thursday, 4-7 PM.
