Mary Ann Chizmar, 53, of Springfield, died at 9:11 a.m. Monday August 6th, 2001 at her residence in Springfield.
She was born in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Aloysius G. & Anna E. Gavura Chizmar.
Ms. Chizmar was a graduate of Girard High School. She was employed as a legal Secretary for the Leahy Law Offices in Springfield. She was a member of Church of the Little Flower.
She was preceded in death by her father-Aloysius G. Chizmar and a sister- Martha Chizmar.
Surviving are her children-Tim (wife-Missy) Jennings of Springfield, Tom (wife-Linda) Jennings of Springfield, Beth (husband- John) Patterson of Springfield, and Andrea (husband-Todd) Fox of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; mother- Anna E. Chizmar of Girard; brothers- Paul Chizmar of Auburn, IL, Thomas Chizmar of Virden, IL, and Michael Chizmar of Girard, IL; and four nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-7:00 p.m. Wednesday August 8th, 2001 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 South 6th Street in Springfield. There will be a prayer service at 4:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday August 9th , 2001 at Church of the Little Flower, the Rev. Henry Schmidt celebrant. Burial will be in Girard Cemetery.
