GREENSBORO Mrs. Gladys Craven Forsyth, 93, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018, at Alamance Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kyle Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Forsyth was born on June 19, 1925, in Moore County, daughter of the late John Wesley and Annie Louise Maness Craven. She was a member of Alamance Presbyterian Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Forsyth, and by her siblings, Flora Margaret Craven, Benjamin Franklin Craven, Sr., Annie Jane Craven Purvis, Lewis Curtis Craven, Eli Asbury Craven, Mattie Virginia Craven Owens, Mary Josephine Craven McDonald and William Robert Craven. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends following the interment in the Gathering Room of the church.
