Elizabeth (Wood) Mullins, was not a descendant of Olive (Harman) Atwood and Nicholas Atwood of Sanderstead, Surrey, Eng. However, her father, John Wood, may have been a descendant of an earlier branch of the Wood/Atwood family. Elizabeth (Wood) Mullins is named as the first wife of William Mullins. It is believed that William Mullins married 1st Elizabeth Wood, daughter of John Wood and Joan Wood (Taylor). She died prior to 1604.
