Delpha Baugh was born on March 31, 1930 (or 31 if you go by her grave stone-1930 is most likely correct since she was on the 1930 Federal Census)in Boyle County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Henry Allen Baugh 1879-1964 and Maudie Pearl Cook Baugh 1883-1973.

She was the granddaughter of Elijah "Eli" Samuel Baugh 1834-1931, Elizabeth Ellen Hafley Baugh1837-1927, Samuel David Cook Jr., and Nancy Jane Conder Cook. Her siblings are Nancy Elizabeth Baugh Lee1902-1978, Rena Ann Baugh Lee 1904-1993, Joseph "Joe" Johnson Baugh 1908-1978, Harlan Henry Baugh 1910-1985, Ella Frances Baugh Holt 1912-2006, Hazel Baugh Holt 1915-2005, Mamie Clara Baugh Crowe1916-2004, Eli Samuel Baugh 1919-1992, Vina Rose Baugh 1922-1931, and Effie Marie Baugh Holman 1924-2012.

She died as a child at the age of 2 years on February 1, 1932, in Boyle County, Kentucky from bronchial pneumonia, and was buried in the Elder Cemetery in Casey County, Kentucky.

Regardless of what the headstone says, Delphia was recorded on April 15, 1930 in the 1930 US Census as being two weeks old on that date. She is also recorded as being two years old at the time of death.
