Mrs. Bowerman Dies At Wewoka Home
Funeral services for Mrs. Josie Bowerman were held in the Stroud funeral home, Wewoka, Wednesday of last week and burial was in the Wewoka cemetery. Mrs. Bowerman died suddenly of a heart attack June 3 at the age of 72.
Mrs. Bowerman lived in the Alfalfa and Eakly communities until 1842.
Survivors include six sons, Chaplain David E. Bowerman, with the armed forces in England; Henry of Mountain View; Albert, Fort Cobb; Willis, Oklahoma City; Joe of the home address, and Jewell, Madisonville, Ky.; a brother, Abe See, Alfalfa, and a sister, Miss Rose See, of the home address. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bowerman, Albert Bowerman and Mr. See attended the funeral from here. Of the surviving relatives all were present for the funeral except David.
