Eugene Davis, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Ely. A carpenter supervisor, he was born Dec. 15, 1922, in Illinois.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; and one daughter, Carol Avery of Henderson.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.∼Eugene Davis, 81, of Ely, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2004. He was born Dec. 15, 1922 in Illinois. Eugene was a carpenter and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Davis; mother, Leona (Smith) Davis; son, Danny Joe Davis; and brother, Paul Davis. Eugene is survived by his wife of 32 years, Helen (Truman) Davis; daughter, Carol (Davis) Avery; stepchildren, Doug Foremaster and wife, Judy, Ron Foremaster and Kathy Taylor; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Glendall Davis of Illinois, Nick Davis of Illinois and Jim Davis of Ely; and sister, Colleen Briner of Henderson. Interment will be private. Arrangements were handled by Hites Funeral Home.
