"DIED OF EPILEPTIC FITS - Andrew Applequist, Employed by J C McKinney, Passed Away Tuesday Afternoon - Andrew Applequist, a Swede living on North Washington street, died Tuesday afternoon, aged 43 years, in an epileptic fit. Deceased was born in Halland, Sweden, and had for the past nineteen years been in the employ of Mr J C McKinney in the capacity of man-of-all-work about his residence on North Union street. Last week deceased had a number of fits, and on Monday they recurred at shorter intervals. On Tuesday he grew rapidly worse, and passed away at 2 o'clock. Mr Applequist was a member of the Swedish Lutheran church and of the Sick Benefit Association of that church. He is survived by a wife and one brother, Aaron Applequist, employed wit the Oil City Desk Furnishing company of Oil City. The date of the funeral will be announced later."

"BREVITIES - The funeral of the late Andrew Applequist took place from the Swedish Lutheran church on North Perry street, about 3 o'clock Friday, and was largely attended. Among those who were present from neighboring places were his brother Aaron, of Oil City; Ben Anderson, a brother of Mrs Applequist, from Grand Valley, and Mr and Mrs Benson and family, of Rouseville. Rev A J Ryden, pastor of the church, officiated at the obsequies and the interment was at Woodlawn."
