Mary Alice Traphagen, 85, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Primrose Home in Newburgh, IN.
She was born in Tell City on September 7, 1934 to Norman and Marjorie (Tate) Lauer.
She married Howard Lee Traphagen on February 3, 1952, who preceded her in death.
Mary Alice was a graduate of Tell City High School and along with her husband owned and operated Lauer Floral Company in Tell City.
She and Howard were avid travelers and she loved playing bridge and golf.
Surviving are her four children: Bradford Traphagen of Tell City, IN; Sheryl Schauberger of Evansville, IN; Craig Traphagen (Sandy) of Evanston, IN; and Keith (Bev) Traphagen of Evansville, IN; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Lauer.
Services will be at 1:00 Monday, September 7, 2020 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam Padgett officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Tell City.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to service time on Monday, September 7, 2020 at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Perry County Hospital Auxiliary or Tell City First United Methodist Church.
