Yvonne Holt of Lynchburg passed this life on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Tennova Harton Health Care in Tullahoma at the age of 84. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 2 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hurricane Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 5-8 PM.
Mrs. Holt, a native of Georgia, was the daughter of the late Isaac and Ethel Hill Cyree. She was a member of Head of Hurricane Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting, canning, and being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved to dance, especially square dancing. She enjoyed taking care of her chickens and her special dog, Princess.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie W. Holt; son, David Buford Holt; brothers, Jack, Leon, Ire and Earl Cyree and sisters, Juanita Osborne and Jewell Hatcher.
She is survived by sons, Terry Holt (Carrie) of Shelbyville, William Wendal Holt (Joyce) and Robin Holt, both of Moore County; brother, Lewis Cyree (Linda) of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Gail Michael (Jeff), Jill Stewart (Charlie), Janet Baker (Todd), Amanda Stovall (Mark), David Holt, Lashonda Hill (Patrick), April Teters (Kenny), Chad Holt (Valarie), Whitney Holt and Cortney Hardin (Daniel) and great grandchildren, Slayton and Kazdin Wild, Jimmy and Deliah Stewart, Will and Hoyt Baker, Nolan and Riley Stovall, Erica and Wesley Clifton, Braylynn and Grayson Hill, Sierra and Makayla Dinner, Kennedie and Elijah Teters, Isaac, Ethan and Lily Holt, Kamber Holt and Christian, Charlie and Corleigh Hardin.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in her honor to the Head of Hurricane Baptist Church Building Fund.
