Mrs. Adaline Gardner, fifty-five, wife of George M. Gardner, of 4 Lafayette street, died in this city Monday evening, at 7:20 o'clock, of complications after an illness of three months. She was born in Manor township a daughter of the late Michael and Sarah Young and resided in this city since early in life. She was a member of Grace Lutheran church. In addition to her husband these children survive: Abram C. Evans, Mrs. Catherine Danz and Mrs Matilda Lamborn, all of this city and Vearl E. Evans, Camden, NJ; also fourteen grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Horst, Elizabethtown. (Intelligencer Journal - Dec 20, 1932)
