LaFlash, Jeanette M.

Jeanette M. LaFlash, age 74, of 415 E. Main St., Mishicot, entered into eternal life Saturday February 21, 2015, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc, with her loving family at her side. Jeanette was born March 5, 1940, in Clyde, WI, to the late John and Lela Weber Rikli. She married Duayne LaFlash July 13, 1957, in Rockford, IL. She worked at her husband's cheese factory for many years, and then pursued a carrer at Mirro as an assembler, until her retirement. She served as a volunteer custodian for the Salvation Army, and also rang bells for the Salvation Army. She loved Elvis and country music, her Word Search books, playing dice, and card games with her family.

Jeanette is survived by her husband, Duayne; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Pixie and Jim Vanden Heuvel, of TX; Teresa and Tom Steinberg, of Two Rivers; Pam and Rowland Laurin, of Two Rivers; Cindy Fabian, of Two Rivers; Candy LaFlash, of Mishicot; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Calvin LaFlash, of Upper MI; Virgil and Melissa LaFlash, of Oshkosh; John LaFlash, of Two Rivers; 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren. Jeanette was also known to many as mom, grandma, and great-grandma to her extended family. She is further survived by two sisters, Wilma Olson, of Arena, WI; Margaret Williams, of Spring Green; one brother, Leroy (Karen) Rikli, of FL; and by her brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, Sheldon (Jeane), Angie, Twylah (Harold), Betty, Sherry (Lynn), Patty (Hank); and by many nieces, nephews and special friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three infant children, three sisters, two brothers, and by her father-in-law and mother-in-law.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday February 28, 2015, at the Salvation Army Corps Community Center, 415 N. 6th St., Manitowoc, with Lieutenant's Jeff and Terri Olson officiating. Relatives and friends may call after 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the community center, until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. The LaFlash family would like to extend a very special thank you to her caregivers, Anna and Chrissy, and Dr. Robert Cornwell. They would also like to thank the entire staff of Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, and to Terri on the 5th. floor for all of the special care extended to Jeanette. Your kindness and compassion will always be remembered. A memorial fund has been established in her name. The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the LaFlash family with funeral arrangements.
