Born in Norwich to the late Hiram and Elizabeth Huffman, Mrs. Gibbons was a member of the First Christian Church. Her husband preceded her in death in 1936.
She is survived by five sons, William of Plain City; Edward of Nashport; Robert and Joseph of Irrville; and Alfred of Parkersburg; three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Snyder of Cedar St; Mrs. Clara Hill of Buckeye Lake; and Mrs. Betty Fink of Putnam Ave; one brother, Kelly Huffman of Sonora; and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Jones of Sonora and Mrs. Ida White of Homewood Ave; and several grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, one son, Floyd Gibbons preceded her in death in 1948.
Services in DeLong Baker Funeral Home Thursday afternoon with burial in Norwich.
