Elkmont, AL - Mrs. Barbara Ellen Pever Dedmon Young, 64, of Rt. 3, Elkmont, died Wednesday at the Huntsville Hospital.
The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville with Doug Eubanks and Fred Evans officiating. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Young had been employed as a registered nurse at Huntsville Hospital and was a member of the Wooley Springs Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Buford Young; her mother, Jessie Pevers of Athens; two step-sons, Dwight Young and Bobby Young, both of Athens; a brother, Simon Ray Pevers of Mesa, AZ; a sister, Mary Johson of Athens; and four grandchildren.
