Orville Ray Miley, age78, widower to Pauline Collins Miley, passed away at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, in Lexington, Kentucky, on Friday, April 20, 2012. He was born September 6, 1933, in Scott County, Kentucky, to the late James and Lula Burgess Miley. He was a self-employed carpenter, an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Webster Avenue Church of God.
He is survived by: a son, Tim Miley, of Berry, Kentucky; a daughter, Phillis Middleton, of Sadieville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, April Edwards and Matthew Edwards; three great-grandchildren, Tyler Underwood, Seth Edwards and Kinley Edwards; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at Tucker, Yocum and Wilson Funeral Home, with Pastor Keith Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Beards Cemetery, in Sadieville, Kentucky, with pallbearers being Robbie Brewer, Charles Luke, Danny Riley, Randy Riley, Charles Robinson and Herbie Fryman. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, at the funeral home.
