Mr. Jerry M. Campbell, age 70, of Waco, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at The Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Berea.
Mr. Campbell, the son of the late Luther E. and Maggie Cope Campbell, was born in Jackson County on January 30, 1950. He retired from Enersys as a Material Handler. He had enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. He loved spending time with his grandsons.
On September 6, 1969, Mr. Campbell was united in marriage to Ruby Fay Rhodus Campbell who survives.
Other survivors include their son: Gregory W. Campbell of Waco; one daughter: Jerri Fay (& Robert) Barton; four brothers: Carl Ray (& Sue) Campbell, Donnie (& Kathy) Campbell, Larry (& Mary) Campbell and Boyd (& Marcie) Campbell; two grandchildren: Aaron Barton and Andrew Barton and his brother-in-law: David VanWinkle.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell is also preceded in death by one brother: Ricky Dale Campbell and two sisters: Shirley VanWinkle and Verdia Allen.
