Sarah and Matthew Austin got married in 1872. They had 5 children: Edith B., Henry, Charles, Susannah B. and Harriet M. Austin.

MRS. SARAH J. AUSTIN

Mrs. Sarah J. Austin, widow of the late Capt. Mathew S. Austin, died early this morning, after a prolonged illness, at her home, 36 West End Avenue. Mrs. Austin was one of the oldest members of the First Presbyterian Church and is survived by one son, Charles R. Austin, two daughters, Miss Edith B. Austin, Mrs. Thomas E. Crook, one brother, James Bell, all of Trenton and two sisters, Miss Mary E. and Miss Hetty Bell, of New York.

The funeral will be held from her late home, Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. The Rev. P. K. Emmons, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery under direction of Clifford P. Taylor.
