He was born May 15, 1942, in Daviess County, Indiana, to the late John Henry and Rachel (Yoder) Wagler.
Marvin was a former dairy farmer and worked in construction many years with Lester K. Wagler Construction and Abraham Wagler Construction. Marvin was a hard worker and enjoyed his time with each construction company. He cherished the opportunity to work and spend time with the coworkers and family members of both companies.
He was a member of First Mennonite Church and a devoted attendee. Marvin loved spending time with his family and friends. Always quick with a kind word, he was never too busy for friends and neighbors stopping by and enjoyed those impromptu discussions beyond measure.
Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Rachel (Yoder) Wagler; and brothers Ivan, Kora and Willis Wagler.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Graber) Wagler of Montgomery; sons John Henry Wagler of Montgomery and Jayson Richard (Katarina) Wagler of Singapore; granddaughter Kiera-Rose Wagler; sibling Viola (Enos B.) Miller of Shipshewana; nieces and nephews Cheryl Bontrager, Lisa Puckett, Fran Swartzentruber, Sheila Troyer, Kevin Wagler, Linda Miller, Randy Miller, Kelly Wagler and Kerry Wagler.
