DEATH COMES TO MRS. HAILE
Mrs Walter (EVE) Haile, 74, of 705 1/2 Adams Avenue, Chehalis passed away Thursday night in a local hospital. She was born in Jamestown, MO., and had lived in Salem, Ore., before moving to Chehalis five years ago.
She is survived by her husband, Walter, at home, one son, Neil Brown, Salem; three sisters, Mrs. Gene Wood, Bremerton; Mrs. Olivia De Bow, Portland and Mrs. Hattie Fletcher, Wenatchee.
Funeral services are pending at the John W. Boon mortuary in Chehalis.
Eva Shaeffer is the daughter of Henry Shaeffer and Malinda Nickles.
Eva was first married to Mr. Levi L. Brown Aug. 30, 1905.
Eva and Levi Brown are the [adoptive] parents of Jason Brown.
After her divorce from Levi, Eva married the widower, William Walter Haile Oct. 24, 1944.
