Mrs. Della Johnson
Funeral services for Mrs. Della Elizabeth Johnson will be held from the Wenatchee Valley Church of the Bretheren on Monday at 2 p.m. Jay Eller will officiate and Betty Mae Barnhart is the organist. Casketbearers' will be Ben Nickles, Ernest Neher, Jess Neher, Ralph Eikenberry, Ben Walton and Harvey Miller. Concluding services will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mrs. Johnson was born January 8, 1879, at California, Missouri, where she grew to young womanhood. Her family moved to Billings, Missouri, where she was united in marriage to William Johnson on Sept. 13, 1900. They made their home there until 1919 when they came to Washington and later to Wenatchee in 1923. She was preceded in death by Mr. Johnson in 1936. She attended the Bretheren Church and had been active in church work and was a member of the East Wenatchee Garden Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John Schultz and Mrs. Charles Barnhart, both of Wenatchee; four sisters, Mrs. A.F. Fletcher of Wenatchee, Mrs. E.I. Wood of Bremerton, Mrs. W.W. Haile of Chehalis, and Mrs. Olivia DeBow of Portland, Oregon.
Jones and Jones is in charge of funeral arrangements.
