Honeybun was a beloved little female dog that lived in a nursing home called Oakwoods in Mer Rouge, La. with her first owner when her owner died years ago no one in the owner's family did not take Honeybun so the nursing home kept her buying her dog food , a dog bed plus trips to the vet and the groomers. Honeybun decided to move in the room with another resident Charlotte Thomas . the residents all enjoyed Honeybun. Honeybun & Ms. Charlotte were a lot of company to each other , Honeybun comforted Ms. Charlotte when her husband passed away in 2017. Honeybun grew older and her health began failing and she was diagnosed with a big tumor inside her and the nursing home made the painful decision to put Honeybun to sleep on Aug. 4, 2020. Ms. Charlotte Thomas was sad over the loss of Honeybun. Honeybun was buried out in the back near the gazebo beside another little dog that lived in Oakwoods Gertie. Ms. Charlotte can see the grave out her window. Update Mrs. Charlotte Thomas passed away at 81
