Following an illness of four years, Amos Southard died at 8 o'clock this morning at the Central Hospital at Indianapolis. His body will be brought here this evening and will be taken to the undertaking establishment of McClelland & Ash. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made. Mr. Southard was a former resident of Crawfordsville. He was engaged in the grocery business for a short time and she was a hardware clerk in the store of Zack Mahorney. He leaves a widow, and three children. His wife was formerly Miss Nell Brown, daughter of James Brown. His children are Earl, Lee and Helen Southard, all of whom reside at Battle Creek Mich., where they have been for the past six months.
