Homer B. Dorsey was born Aug. 22, 1896, at Harrisburg, Ky.; a son of John and Eliza Pullum Dorsey. He married Ruth F. Sparrow July 15, 1918 at Pekin. She preceded him in death on Feb. 24, 1971.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Hazel) Nannen, Mrs. Paul (Bernice) Veatch, Mrs. Les (Gerturde) MacDonald and Mrs. Thomas (Bernadine) Hines; three sons, Clarence, Leo and Lawrence; twenty-one grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Krohn, Mrs. Ruth Wood, Mrs Hattie Johnson, and Mrs. Grace Menhusen and five brothers, Haskell, Oscar Virgil and Strother, and John and Ralph.
In addition to his wife, a grandson, and a brother
preceded him in death.
He was a veteran of WORLD WAR I.
