Strother W. Dorsey, 76, died Saturday at Pekin Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 21, 1903, in Washington County, Ky., a son of John and Elizabeth Pollom Dorsey. He married Thelma A. Brighton June 28, 1925, at Chicago. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, John H., Peoria; a daughter, Patricia Wheet, Hopedale; four sisters, Grace Menhusen, Lawrence, Kan.; Hattie Johnson, Kansas City, Mo.; Mary Krohn, Delavan; Ruth Wood, Peoria; and two brothers, John and Ralph, both of Peoria.
Four brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Dorsey worked for Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1966.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
