Adalene Frankum, 97, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020, at the home of her daughter, west of Bogard, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family.
"Bonnie", as she was known to most people, was born June 7, 1923, in Bogard, Missouri, the daughter of Norvill and Mardy (Wagaman) Givens. She married George Ray Frankum on January 2, 1942, in Keytesville, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1997. Bonnie worked alongside George on the farm and was a receptionist for Dr. George Bailey, DDS, for several years. She was a lifelong member of the Mandeville Methodist Church.
Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Barbara Ray (Donnie) McCracken, Bogard, Missouri, and Sondra Kay (Roger) Davis of Carrollton, Missouri; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces; and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Christine Adrian Casa; two brothers, Edgar and Marvill (Bup) Givens; and one grandson, Kevin Davis in infancy.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Bittiker Funeral Home, 1201 North 65 Highway, Carrollton, Missouri, 64633.
Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Bittiker Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bogard, Missouri.
