Patience Morse was the daughter of Joseph and Grace (Warren) Morse. She had 5 siblings: Joseph, 27 Sep 1691; Grace, 7 Jan 1694; Mary, 13 Oct 1694; Elizabeth, 4 Jan 1700; Jonas, 25 Jul 1703.

Patience married Jonathan Keyes 11 Nov 1726 and they settled in that part of Shrewsbury which would later become Boylston, Massachusetts. Jonathan was Deacon in the North Parish and served as Town Selectman in 1757 and 1758.

Patience and Jonathan had 11 children: Jonathan, 21 Jan 1728; Miriam, 7 Oct 1729 died young; Dinah, 22 Aug 1731, died young; Timothy, 4 Nov 1733; Miriam, 14 Dec 1735, Thomas, 24 Dec 1737, a prominent WHIG, he marched to Lexington 19 Apr 1775; Benjamin, 29 Jan 1740; Asa, 4 Jul 1742; Catherine, 15 Aug 1744, died as and infant, Dinah, 15 Aug 1744; Catherine 9 Oct 1747.

Patience died 1 May 1776 at the age of 70, about 2 years before Jonathan.
