DR. TALBOT DIES IN RUSTON HOME.
PROMINENT PHYSICIAN UP TO TIME OF HIS RETIREMENT.
Dr. B. H. Talbot of Ruston died at his home Sunday morning after a lengthy illness. He was 82. Dr. Talbot practiced medicine in Dodson, La. for several years, later moving to Ruston where he continued to practice. He had been retired for the past twenty years. His father was one of the original settlers of Jonesboro, La., having come there at the end of the Civil War.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, E. E. Talbot, W. H. (Eva) Talbot, B. H. Talbot, Jr., of New Orleans, Dr. Ralph J. Talbot, Monroe. Two daughters, Miss Lillian Talbot, Ruston, Mrs. George Dekel Busbee, Albay, Ga. and the following grandchildren: E. E. Talbot, Jr., B. H. Talbot III and Mrs. Freddie Hadleigh-West of New Orleans and Nancy Lea Talbot, Monroe.
The funeral was held at the First Baptist Church, Ruston, at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon and was largely attended.
