Beverly S. Blewett, age 93, of Newfane entered into rest on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Beverly was born on August 25, 1926 in Buffalo, NY. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Eva (Seibert) Stierly Jr. Beverly attended local schools and also graduated from the University of Indiana eventually obtaining her master's degree.

She was employed by Newfane CSD as a physical education teacher for 30 plus years. Beverly worked at artpark as a bus greater, she enjoyed Olcott, NY. She was a member of the Olcott Yacht Club where she was active on the race committee. Beverly loved sailing, gymnastics and was an active swimmer. She was also a member of the NYS Teachers Association and a very active member of the Newfane United Methodist Church for many years.

She is survived by one daughter: Roxanne Guy, and one son; John (Sharon) Blewett; her grandchildren Marcus (Vicki) Guy and Curtis Guy, also a great grandson Brady. She is the sister of Phyllis (Late James) Richardson and is predeceased by a sister Joan (Late James) Stevenson.
