She married Sir Ambrose Dudley, KG, 3rd Earl of Warwick in 1565 and died in 1604. Anne (Russell) Dudley, Countess of Warwick, should not be confused with the Anna Russell who married Captain John Vassall in 1580 and for whom this memorial page was created. There is no evidence whatsoever to even remotely suggest that Anna (Russell) Vassall (died 1593) and Anne (Russell) Dudley (died 1604) are the same person and, indeed, it is undoubtedly impossible.
