Services Held Sat. For Jessie Jones
Funeral services for Jessie Jones, 89, a lifelong resident of Douglas and Ozark Counties, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Clinkingbeard Chapel with the Rev. Tom Johnson officiating. Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mr. Jones, died at 7:30 p.m. April 12 at Chastain's of Mtn. Home following a short illness.
Born Feb. 10, 1895, in Ozark County, he was the son of Thomas and Mary Ellen Denney Jones.
He was a Christian.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lena Schultz, McGregor, Texas; six nephews, Jack, Johnnie, Virgil and Starlin Cox of Ava, Joe Cox of Springfield and Anderson Cox of the State of Washington and several nieces.
