Albert D. Beavis, Age 89, of Butte
May 27, 1931 – August 11, 2020
Albert “Bert” passed away peacefully at home on August 11, 2020 in Walkerville, Montana of natural causes. He was born to Stewart and Edna Mae Beavis on May 27, 1931, in Butte, Montana.
Albert served in the Air Force, married Allie Beavis in Great Falls, and worked principally as a blasting superintendent at the Berkley Pit. Albert was a part of the construction of Our Lady of the Rockies from inception to completion. His passion for carving and woodworking brought him many hours of joy.
He is survived by his children, Alan Beavis, Randy Beavis, Patti James, and Toby Beavis; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Butte during a private burial.
