Mrs. Dora Moles Key, mother of Santa Cruz county Supervisor Russ McCallie, died yesterday in her Watsonville home, apparently of a heart attack. She was 79.

A native of Arkansas, she had resided in Watsonville for 30 years. She was a member of the Gold Star Mothers there and the Foursquare church in Salinas.

Besides McCallie, she is survived by her husband, Charles W. Key; two other sons, Wesley McCallie of Iowa, and Charles McCallie of Oregon: five daughters, Mrs. Newte Thornton, of Kansas, Mrs. Bill Key of Arizona, Mrs. Orville Hanner of Elk Grove, Mrs. Lee Dunbar of Texas, and Mrs. Barrington Hilliker of Salinas; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Walker and Nancy Gass, both of Oklahoma; 28 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in White's Memorial Chapel, 609 Main street, Watsonville, with the Rev. Boyett R. Helton of the Foursquare church of Salinas officiating. Interment will be in Pajaro Valley Memorial park. The family requests donations to the Heart Fund.
