Mrs. Anita Alpough Tyler, 57, entered into eternal rest on December 29, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was a lifetime resident of Port Arthur and a faithful member of Sacred Heart-St. Mary’s Catholic Church until her illness.



Anita is survived by her devoted husband of over 16 years, Alvin Tyler; daughters, Trameka Alpough Williams (Charles) and Chakyna Alpough; grandchildren, Kyleigh Mallory and Kyndall Williams; siblings, Vincent Alpough, Jr. (Julie), Ann January (Tom), Curtis Alpough (Sherold), Cynthia Glasper (Jerald), Myra Williams (Fredwin) and Lionel Alpough (Sarah); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Sacred Heart-St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 920 Booker T. Washington Avenue, Port Arthur, Texas, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service time. The rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
