In memory of William C. Farries, late ironmonger in Lockerbie and son of the said William Farries merchant in Ecclefechan, who died at Detroit, U.S. the 2nd of Octr 1859 aged 43 years. Also Esther his daughter who died in Jersey City the 29th of March 1854 aged 10 years. And Margaret his daughter who died in New York the 24th of Septr 1854 aged 8 months. Also Robert his son who died the 4th of July 1860 aged 14 years. Also Isabella Carlyle Farries daughter of the said William Farries merchant in Ecclefechan who died on the 7th of May 1882 aged 74 years. [Reverse] In memory of Ann Armstrong spouse to William Farries Merchant in Ecclefechan she died Janr 16th 1794 aged 22. John Farries who died 8th Feby 1810 aged 16 years
