Mrs. Holsen died at 9:36 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 1986, at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital.
She was born to Grant Higgins and Isabel Keen on Aug. 7, 1893, in Wabash County. She married Earl Holsen in 1912, who preceded her in death in 1961. The homemaker was also a member of the Bethlehem United Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Merle Holsen, Lawrenceville, and Melvin Holsen, Olney; one daughter Mildred Correll, Palestine; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Holsen was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

SUMNER, ILL. - - Bessie May Holsen, 93, Deewood Nursing Center, died at 9:36 p.m. Sunday at Lawrence County Hospital.
