Charles was the son of Manirva John(Wood) and George Washington Sirmon. He married Vera B. Sandlin on 28 Jan. 1925.

"Rites Are Held for Jeff Sirmon
Charles Jefferson "Jeff" Sirmon was laid to rest in Rock Creek Cemetery Saturday following services at 2:30 p.m. in Reynolds Funeral Chapel. Elder A. D. Wood of this city officiated.
Sirmon died in the local hospital Thursday of last week following a lengthy illness.
Sirmon was born in DeWitt County April 25, 1898, and was married to Bernice Sandlin Jan. 28, 1925. She preceded him in death May 31, 1945.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Wanda Ice of Galt, Calif., and Mrs. Margaret Hamill of Cleburne; two sisters; Mrs. Allie Dempsey of Glen Rose and Mrs. Maude Kirkland of Uvalde; two brothers, Monroe Sirmon of Amarillo and Wallace Sirmon of Weatherford; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Jim Turner, Leslie Hart and George, Felton, Roy and Cleba Dempsey. Reynolds Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements."
