Elsie Carstanjen, 77, Dies in Springfield
Elsie Carstanjen, 77, Springfield, died Wednesday in Springfield General Osteopathic Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Carstanjen was a member of Worldwide Church of God.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Pasini, Elmhurst, Ill., Gail Hamilton, San Jose, Calif., and Inga Verla, Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Memorial services were held at 4 p.m. on Dec. 2, in Greenlawn North with George Meeker officiating. The body was cremated at Greenlawn Crematory.
