Marcella Fite Ross, age 74, of Joan, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was born December 21, 1945, in Joan, the daughter of the late Felix and Augusta Thompson Fite. Marcella was a homemaker and a member of Baring Cross Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, quilting and canning in her free time. Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alex Ross, two sisters, Marie Lafayette and Hazel Holt, six brothers, Willis, Daryl, Roy, Alvin, Clarence and Hilliard Fite.
Survivors are one son, Frank Ross (Penny) of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Connie Christie (James) of Bismarck, two brothers, Marvin Fite (Debbie) of Joan and Ronnie Fite (Marie) of Prattsville, two sisters, Frances Drake of Metairie, LA and Martha Helvering (Dave) of Tull, AR, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
