Mrs. Cassie Parker Varner died Friday morning, February 20th at the Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Varner was a native of Carroll County, the daughter of the late ZacheryLee and Ady Parker. She was a member of Moore Memorial Methodist Church of Winona.
Mrs. Varner is survived by her husband, Robert Luther Varner of Winona; 1 daughter, Mrs. Lois Katherine Sauer, Houston, Texas; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Myra Rucker, Itta Bena and Mrs. Ady Kee Graham of Houston, Texas.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. William W. Kemp at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 22nd.
Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Moorman, James Kidd, Leighton Parker, Robert Evans, Jim Evans and Millard Whittimore, nephews of Mrs. Varner.
