Alvin L. Arp, 74, of rural Stockton, Iowa, died Tuesday at Mercy Hospital.
He had farmed in Muscatine County before retirement.
Mr. Arp married Lenora Meyer in 1940 in Davenport.
Visitation is 3-9 p.m. Thursday at Runge Mortuary.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to American Lung Association or Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Davenport.
He was a member of Walcott Community Club and Muscatine County Farm Bureau.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sandra (Mrs. Don) Roehlk, rural Walcott; a son, LaVerne, rural Stockton; three grandchildren; a sister, Leona (Mrs. Harold) Puck, Walcott; and brothers, Rudolph, Edwin and Lester, all of Walcott, and Karl, Davenport.
