He was born on September 7, 1925 in Rush County to the late Harold and Lucy (Hampton) Case. Harold was a World War II Army Veteran that served in Germany. He met the love of his life Louise (Skorik) Case in Garmish-Partenkirchen, Germany while serving. Harold and Louise married on May 20, 1946 and she survives.
He worked over 30 years as a mechanic for the Amtrak Railroad, retiring in 1991. Harold was a member of Sexton Christian Church over 70 years. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and “do it yourself projects.”
In addition to his wife, Louise, he is survived by his daughters, Vera (Andy) Rodriguez of California and Wanda Cole of McCordsville; 2 grandchildren, Mark (Meagan) Cole and Ryan Cole and 3 great- grandchildren, Owen, Drew and Henry Cole.
Bud is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Rick Cole and sisters, Adrienne Lacy and Margaret Elliott.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 1 PM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastors Steve Ray and Mike Smith presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until time of service in the mortuary. Burial will be held at Rushville East Hill Cemetery.
