Mrs. Geneva Jarvis, 65, New Plymouth Rt 1, died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday at Hocking Valley Community Hospital.

Born Jan. 17. 1906, in Vinton County, daughter of the late Howard and Mary Schaal Congrove, she lived her entire life in that area.

Surviving are her husband Charles Jarvis; three sons, George Ringhiser of Nelsonville Rt. 1, and Charles Amerine and Larry Amerine, both of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Boals of Newark and Mrs. Betty Klump of Logan; 17 grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Waveline Dennison of Fostoria; three stepsons, William Jarvis of Logan, Asa Jarvis of Columbus and Richard Jarvis of Lancaster Rt. 4; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Muer of Venice, Fla , and Mrs. Anna Bryan and Mrs. Patricia Kilkenny, both of New Plymouth Rt. 1; 19 stepgrand-children and 35 stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother Charles Congrove and a grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Heinlein Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Frasure of Newark of- iiciating. Burial will be in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
